do you want to achieve a grade 9/A*?
learn from the Oxford student who has helped numerous students improve their grades in Maths, Chemistry and Biology since 2023
-
Lessons run twice a week to balance regular learning with sufficient time for consolidation. This also allows students to spend free time outside of school improving themselves in other areas, whether playing sports, practicing music or reading; all of which we firmly encourage.
-
Students learn as part of a tight-knit group of other high-achieving learners between six and eight in size. This environment fosters healthy competition and a desire to improve which may be lacking in a larger class group at school.
-
Many people spend years paying for tutors to teach the same content over and over again, in a cycle of forgetting and relearning. Not here. Mandatory work is set between sessions to ensure students retain what they’ve been taught. I expect my students to use study time away from sessions to get the best value for their time and money spent with me.
-
While many students (myself included) tend not to enjoy assessment, they are a critical part of learning and improving. Sapiens Tuition uses these sparingly to accurately gauge student progress and attainment, and direct future study where it is most needed.
-
Pricing is set at £25 a session, payable in advance of a four-week block of lessons.

“Jack worked with my son on his A-level Chemistry for about 10 months before his exams. He was always on time and flexible with scheduling. He connects well with my son, making tough concepts easier to understand. We highly recommend him as a tutor.”

Hi, I’m Jack, the founder of Sapiens Tuition. Having achieved 10 9s in my GCSEs and 4 A*s in my A-Levels, I’m currently studying for an MBiol at the University of Oxford. I’ve been tutoring both online and in person since 2023, and in that time I’ve gotten to know and understand the biggest issues students face when preparing for exams.
I used to find studying extremely difficult. I would sit there for hours before I settled on what to do, mindlessly copying from a textbook or rewriting my old notes from lessons. It wasn’t until my final year of A-Levels that I developed my current method which maximises results in the shortest possible time.
This method is the same one I’ve used to help my students get the best grades they can, and I want you to benefit from it.
